Hi, there! I’m Teacher Fil, a quirky educator who made it my mission to make learning enjoyable by breaking down lessons into fun and learnable chunks. The more students I help, the more fulfilled I feel. I studied at Xavier School too, so I understand what my students are going through!
One story that will always stick with me is about my former student, who hated studying—and dislikes other people. It took a lot of time, patience, and effort, but slowly she started opening up. From being anti-studying and strangers, she started helping out her friends, and acing her classes!

Nǐ hǎo! I’m Teacher Shanda, a general and Chinese educator who fell in love with the art of helping kids learning—and eventually, falling in love with Chinese. I believe the best way to teach kids Chinese is to make it fun and progressive.
One story I can’t forget as a teacher is about my student, who would ace sports but was challenged academically. During our time together, my student showed me how dedicated and attentive he was to improving. One day, he proudly showed me his A in Chinese!

Hey there! I’m Teacher Evelyn, and I find great joy in my job as an educator. As a teacher at Rhyme Lab, I find it fulfilling when I see my students develop good study habits, which help them grow and improve every day.
What made my stay here in Rhyme Lab fulfilling is that I saw my students ace their classes—and carry on the good study habits they’ve developed while studying with us.

Hi! I’m Teacher Kat, a Chinese teacher who grew up studying in a Chinese school. Since I had first-hand experience with what it’s like to grow up learning Chinese, I use it to connect with my students, so I can teach them better.
One of the rewarding things I get as a teacher is seeing how my students grow. I had a student who badly needed help developing study habits for better grades. We both persevered in studying, and she eventually got the top spot in her class!

Hello, everyone! I’m Teacher Aileen, a passionate teacher and mother. As a parent, I know how it takes a different type of care to teach and handle young students. As a parent, I also know that my unconditional love and dedication as a teacher are what they need most.
Teaching is not an easy job, but it can be one of the most rewarding. I felt the most appreciated when my former students pay me a visit at Rhyme Lab and give me letters thanking me for helping them become better students.

Hi! I’m Teacher Jhen, a passionate educator and I knew I wanted to enlighten young minds, even when I was still young! In my sessions, I always strive to show my love for my students so they can learn to love studying even more.
After several years of teaching, I’ve encountered a lot of inspiring moments—such as what happened recently. I have a student who struggled to master English, yet he persevered. One day, he visited me to let me know that he is now an editor in his English class!

Hi! I’m Teacher Reg. I come from a line of educators and found myself falling in love with teaching as well. As a teacher, I believe in teaching with love, patience, and grace. Given that my students are mostly young, I am always trying different strategies to help my kids learn better while having fun.
Most of the students I handle are preschoolers and beginners, ages at which learning is most critical. Teaching kids this young takes a different amount of time, effort, patience, and dedication. But in the end, when I see my students learn how to finally read their ABCs, all I can say is, “worth it!”
